Hey Jess, hey Kim... hey Kirst ;-) Hehe, well, kirsty and I are from Brisbane, we are old school friends who by sheer coincidence booked the same contiki tour, very wierd, but also VERY cool :-)
Arrive in London on the 19th of July after a few days stopover in Dubai, then we're looking at going to Disneyland Paris for a couple of days before the tour starts - so excited about that!!
Im 26, i'll have just turned 27 when the tour begins.
I've actually brought myself one of those hybrid bags, thats like a suitcase but also has the backpack option, hoping i'll get the best of both world's!!
So excited about this trip.... bring on JULY!!!

I'm 29 at the moment but will have turned 30 before the tour....
The hybrid bag sounds pretty good, I might have to check one out before I fully decide what I am going to take.

Hey all, that's an aewsome coincidence that you both picked the same tour & date, very freaky.
Think I might check out the hybrid also, it might save me from having to lug a suitcase up stairs or across gravel. The hardest part is going to be the packing. Don't know about you guys but I always end up wanting to take my whole wardrobe and end up over packing. Going to be pretty hot while we're over there. How greats that we miss out on an entire month of winter Loving the countdown Kim.

Im in the middle of reading Dave's travelogue, WOW!! I had to take a break, it's so long but extremely awesome, can't wait to do it all, plus some really good tips and things to look out for.
We should do what they did and plan to meet in the Contiki basement on Contiki Eve or something? Who's with me?!?!!

I had to take a few breaks from the travelogue also. But it got so addictive I was reading it at work when I wasn't to busy. What do u do for work?
I'm in purchasing, sales & marketing for a kitchen cabinet hardware company. Not ideal but pays the bills and for this exciting holiday. I'm actually half way through my application into the Vic Police Force.

Dave's travelogue was awesome, it was one of the things which made me book this trip in the first place and one of the main reasons why I chose to do Egypt.
Sounds like a good plan to catch up on Contiki Eve, we could maybe catch up early that day and check out some of London.
I am a project manager with a manufacturing company at the moment but will be leaving that to hopefully find work in the UK after our trip.

Hi everyone.
Good to see we have got our own face book page. My Name is Jason I am 22 and will just finish my uni degree before we leave at the end of July. I am from the Central Coast Australia. I am heaps easy going and like to have fun. I joined face book today just so I would no miss out on being on our contiki page.

I leave on the 23rd on Air New Zealand any one on the same flight. Are any of you gays looking at staying back after the trip and working for a bit. Do you think it will be hard to get work visa
