Hi everyone,
Im Tanya, 21 year old from Sydney.
I've just booked my holiday starting with the Ultimate European on the 8th July- August 21st. Then the Simply Italy tour on the 24th August- September 4th and finishing with Greek Island Hopping from the 7th September- 19th September!

I am really looking forward to it.
If anyone else is on these tours at the same time, write back. I'd like to meet the people i'll be spending alot of time with!

Hey everyone!

I'm thinking of doing this date; in january i'm going to be booking a tour so i'll know by then. I'll be doing the mykonos option! I've been there with contiki before and had an awesome time, and it will be a nice relaxing break in the middle of the tour.

Tanya You're going to have a blast! I've done the greek island hopping tour before and it's a great choice to end your contiki tours with! I also did the London to Athens tour; this was all in 2005 august and september.

Hey Tanya,

How’s everyone doing?

Well I took a suitcase last time and I was thinking this time around I would maybe look into a backpack. But I think I'll end up taking the suitcase. It depends on what you want; a suitcase will keep all your stuff more secure and folded nicely, a backpack will be easier to carry up stairs (there will be moments when you’re walking up a lot of steep stairs carrying your suitcase or backpack and you’ll start flirting with the idea of chucking your belongings down the stairs) and it's easy to shove things in when you're in a rush. There were more suitcases on my last tour; the people with backpacks were mostly people backpacking after the tour. For the tours you're doing after Ultimate European it shouldn’t be too much of a hassle with a suitcase. Either way I promise that which ever one you decide on you're guaranteed a really good workout lugging it around Wink actually that’s why I want to do another tour; I miss my buff contiki biceps.
haha

I hope that helped out somewhat; thinking about it now I will probably take a suitcase.

Thanks for your help Ashley,
It was really good to know what other people took before i get over there and realise i should have taken my other option.
Im leaning towards the suitcase option. I think its coz im away for so long aswell. The more room and clothes i have the better! :P

Hey Nyalee,

Tanya is right, don't worry Smiler there will be lots of us solo travelers in your shoes! That’s the beauty of contiki!

Oh and I have another suitcase tip: remember to leave enough room in your suitcase for stuff you're going to buy. That might be a no-brainer for most of you but I didn't think of that last time...

Hey everyone Smiler

Nyalee- I'm glad you're feeling less nervous. I'm thinking of either heading to London a few days early or stay a few days after to check out the city. How about yourself?
