Does any one have any advice or preference about the type of luggage to take on this trip? I prefer moving around with the backpack but lets face it, I'm a girl and it would be great to pack more clothes and pack them neatly...I should just suck it up and use a backpack right?!

Tash, Contiki are very tight on there sizing requirements. I think it is easiest to use a suitcase. Check out the what to take page and that takes you through the sizing requirements.

What does anybody else think? I am actually keen to take a backpack because i will be travelling for another couple of months after the Tour, but i am put off by the Contiki requirements and information from some of my mates who said that they were really stringent on the requirements.

I don't know.. I think I'm going with the suitcase option. Mainly coz I've already got one from my last travels. Besides, I'm a light packer... and I need all the room I can get to throw in all the stuff I'm bound to purchase overseas!

I just like the idea of having wheels...

they're not picky about the size/shape, just the weight.

i'd take the suitcase, personally
