Yep another early thread

I didnt know where to start, traveling is going to be a whole new journey for me, only a year to go and i hope it doesnt "seem" forever

I have already started the savings and im still paying off a car but im gonna MAKE this happen
Some great threads with lots of useful info !

Im from Australia, W.A and am basically writing this to find out who else may be traveling about this time, i also hope to carry onto Germany for a 5 day contiki after this for Octoberfest

If all goes well i hope to pick up some work after traveling, if i can earn enough for living expenses and my car loan

With the type of work i do, i have hrs owing to me aswell as annual leave, i may have some of this yr's annual leave that i can push back

At the moemnt im owed 15ohrs, about 3 wks, plus annual leave so i have nearly got enough to pay my way for the trip, then i will just pick up work on the way

Lucky for me, i should have both jobs waiting for me for when i get back

I will be booking tickets etc. in January

I'm looking to book the trip in october and book flights in January sometime...

I spoke to my travel agent and she does suggest booking flights to far in advance...

You travel agent DOES or DOESNT recommend ??

I will be starting to sort all my paperwork out etc. in January, as im also gonna need workign visa etc. and all the other stuff that goes with it

I want to try and get some work afterwards, i need a change of scenery and i think this will do the trick
