I think so. its coming up to 6 months before the trip so wouldn't mind getting that discount. haha

Plans before would be to stay in london for a few weeks before the tour. stay with a mate or in hostel. and after maybe stay in london and look for work or i have a couple of friends doing southern europe so could hitch on with them. but plans are open really.

i'm kinda seeing this tour as a teaser of europe and then go back to the places i want in depth a bit later on.

i've never been over there and going to be going solo so should be fun.

yep very close to 6 months. Definitely book it in! Are you doing Egypt or Greek islands. I am doing Greek islands.

Sounds like a great plan. Are you planning on doing doing the work/ travel thing in London?

I am heading to do the US first then will do Scotland and Ireland after Europe then off to
Japan!

I am 25 how about you? Hopefully we can meet up before the your starts i'll be staying at the royal national hotel about 4 daysbegore the tour starts!

Hopefully a few more people will join in soon!!

wow! your on a massive world tour! sounds awesome.

Hopefully do the work/travel thing in london. but very open to continuing traveling, not sure where i'll end up, and to be honest I kinda like not knowing. Yeah i'm traveling solo. so keen to meet as many people as I can.

My husband and I have just booked on this tour, doing the Egypt option. YAY!
Just booked today, paying tommorrow, will be so glad for the super early-bird discount.
My name is Claire (Im 25) and my husband is Toby (he's 29). We live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Im so excited about this adventure! I have always wanted to see Europe and the Egypt option is a great bonus.
We plan to arrive the day before the tour and stay at the Royal National. Then after the tour we are going to hire a car and have a 4 week UK road trip.
I hope we are not the only old married couple on the tour! he he. Regardless im sure we'll have a blast.

Sounds like a great plan after your tour! My friends just came back from Europe and they hired a car around Scotland and Wales and said it was definitely the best way to go!

Is everyone doing the Egypt option - Looks like I am the only one so far doing Greek Islands.

It does seem that most of us (so far) are doing the Egypt option. I wish I could do both!

I am on the southside of Brisbane also Jess. Redlands / Bayside area.

I hope we have a good mix of people from different countries on the tour. I hear that people are mostly: Australian, American, Canadian and New Zealander.

Thanks for the welcome I’m a 23 year old female, currently living in Niagara-on-the-lake, Ontario, Canada. This will be my first Contiki Tour and my first time really travelling (I’ve only been to places in Canada and the U.S.). Everything is officially booked as of today!! Is anyone going to do any extras? I would love to go to the Moulin Rouge but I don’t want to go alone! How are your travel plans coming?
