I'm going on this one!!! Are you leaving the 11th? The tour starts on the 11th or 12th though...not 17th/18th, that's when it ends. Is this the one you are going on?

Arriving on the evening of the 18th. Day of the 19th planning to just walk around to get a feel for the city & commit random acts of consumerism. Thinking of going to the Vatican on day 6 of the tour when back in Rome again.

I just booked this tour leaving from Toronto on the 18th. I arrive in Rome at 7:25am on the 19th, which also happens to be my birthday!! I was just wondering what people were planning on doing their first day there before meeting up with the rest of the group at 6pm?

my plane lands around 7:30 AM in Rome on the 19th. I was planning on trying to find a tour group to see the vatican, the sistine chapel etc etc. I'll be traveling alone so if anyone would like to join in let me know!

My plane is landing at around 7:25am on the 19th as well. It would be great to have someone to travel to the hotel with from the airport and then try to figure out the rest of the day?
