Anyone going on the Contiki Italian expresso trip from the 17th May to the 31st May?

arriving at the hotel around lunchtime on the 17th and staying an extra few days at the end.

Hey I'm doing the Italian Espresso tour May 17 2008 too! I arrive 8am on 17th. I will be flying to Paris when trip ends but not until the evening.

23/M/CAN if you can make it for noon then we can go to Vatican. It will be tight but should be worth it.

I'm thinking of going Pompei after the end of tour.

staying two extra nights - the first night at the same hotel we'll be in rome and the next night found a place near the compo di fiori thats affordable.

Anyone else staying on?

was thinking of the vatican on the 23rd (last offical contiki day) or the 24th (at the end of the tour).

I think morning would be best, and of course, everyone reccomends reserving a place on a vatican tour (dont want to be stuck in a line for 2 hours

I'd be interested in the Vatican on the 23rd. My flight to Paris is at 7pm so starting early at Vatican would be great.

I do have messenger - what's your email? I'm wondering when the final breakfast is? I really don't want to waste time if the breakfast is later in the morning. They say you need an entire day at vatican and I probably will need to catch shuttle to airport from hotel by 4pm.

23rd at th Vatican Sounds good to me too. However, I hope we don't miss out on a the guided tour of ancient rome included with contiki?

but anyway - on the 23rd there is a 9.30 group and a 10.30 group

Are you referring to the optional Rome tour? I hear it ain't worth it. Just do a google.


So there are many tours but only couple of them seems "official" ones.
