I'm signed up and ready to roll on the Italian Espresso this April 18th - 24th. Just wondering if there are any other folks out there signed up to do the same. I'll be heading over solo and it will be my 1st time in Europe. I'm very excited and a little nervous.
I figured it would be nice to chat with my travel mates ahead of time if possible.

I've signed up too. I'll be in Paris on April 12th and then will be heading to Rome on the 18th. It's also my first time in Europe and am traveling solo on this expresso tour. Can't wait.

Ya i'm feeling the same way- really excited yet a bit nervous at the same time. what I'm not excited about is the exchange rate from dollar to euro. it's gonna be rough, but it's italy. once I get there I'm sure I won't care so much.

Oh sweet. I was just down there visting my friends for 4th of july. hung around o'sheas and peanut island alot.

my company's yearly conference is in paris this year, so they paid for the plane ticket and I figured why not go to one of the other top places on my list as well.

That's awesome! I hang at O'Sheas some times...and peanut island is always a good time. I Kayak there some times

Nice to meet you all. I too am signed up for the Italy tour on the 18th-26th. Looking forward to it. I get into Rome on the 19th. Coming from California with a stop in DC as I'm fitting the tour in between a business trip =)

I'll be leaving FL on the 18th arriving Rome at 8:00am on the 19th (Saturday). I guess I'll have the day to roam around. I haven't gotten my travel packet yet, but I think we all meet up Saturday evening. If anyone wants to meet up and explore Saturday morning / afternoon - let me know!
As for learning to parlo Italiano - I just know the basics although I've been trying. How bout you guys???

Mike: I just got back from a long weekend in D.C. One of my besties lives there and we'd run a muck all over town exploring the sites n' such.
Kira: Unfortunately, I'll be heading home just after the trip. I'm guessing you have plans to continue on?? Where abouts?

I believe I arrive into Rome around 9am on the 19th. I had them email me all my travel documents since I booked close to the date. It says that we meet the tour manager at the hotel lobby (Giglio dell'Opera) at 6:00pm on Sat.

I'm heading to Belgium after the trip for a couple days to meet up with a friend. Should be neat to explore that part of Europe.

Ya, I'm going to Greece for a few weeks after this tour. I've never been to europe so I'm getting pretty excited. I'm glade to see that there are other people travelling solo. I haven't received my travel documents either, does anyone know what time we can check into the hotel in Rome?
