I have enrolled myself on this tour starting April 18th till April 25th. I am flying from New York. But I am visiting Berlin and Prague from April 10th till April 17th. I am palnning on arriving Rome on 17th afternoon/evening and spend an extra day in Rome. Is anyone else on this tour? I am a solo travelle and first time in Europe. Excited

Hi...I'm flying from Vancouver. And I'm arriving at 5pm on the 17th too. My gf is arriving from HK and she is flying arriving on the 18th. did you guys know that the Vatican is not open on Sunday. so if the itenary states taht we are touring Rome on the sunday. We will completely miss the Vatican. So you may want to arrive a day early to visit it. I'm joining a seperate tour at 1pm from Viator. Its 3 hours long, and gives us plenty of time to meet up with contiki in the evening. Anyone interested?

Also, the city bus tours are supposed to be amazing and dirt cheap!

Really. I did not know that the vatican is closed on sundays. Since the vatican website doesnt mention that as well. I arrive Rome on 17th around 2pm. I guess i would like to see a few places before the tour. And vatican as well. Not sure how its covered as well in the tour. May be seeing the spanish steps would be also nice. I am staying near Termini station for a night. Let me know the details about the vatican tour

Is anyone doing the Duomo/Uffizi in Florence? I want to book the museum visit. BUt the package that arived said it should be booked on the first full day in FLorence and taht day is MOnday. The Duomo is closed on Mondays. Also is anyone doing the vatican tour before in hand? I would like to join as well. I am arriving ROme on 17th afternoon. I can do 17th noon tour or 18th morning tour. Let me know.
