I am looking at booking the Italian Espresso tour beginning June 11th 2006, looking for fellow travellers as will be travelling alone for the first time.

I keep changing my mind, but I am thinking about doing this tour alone also.  If I do go, I will prob go to Pompeii on my own before heading to Rome to meet up with the group on the 12th.  Then after the tour I will prob head to Spain &  maybe some of Eastern Europe depending on my budget & time.  Bye

Have you decided on which trip you are taking yet? I booked the one strating on the 11th last week. I'm going to Italy about 3 days earlier to stay with some family in Teramo. That's a good idea about going to see Pompeii too.
How long are you going away for altogether?

lol... But isn't the date June 10, not June 11? That is the one I am
interested in as well! Are you guys definitely going, confirmed and
all? I haven't confirmed yet, cause I was trying to find someone but I

I'm pretty sure the date is the 11th June which is a Sunday, then ends on Saturday 17th June. Is that the same one? I'm all confirmed and booked, would be nice to find someone else who is going to be on the same trip too!

Hey, I'm all booked for the trip to, and I depart on the 10th and get
into Italy on the 11th, that might be where the disagreement from dates
come from or what not. I'm going with my friend but yea. Should be a
crazeyfun time meeting new people and just seeing the sites. I'm Meg,
21 years old from New York. So I guess I'll see you there :-) 

Oh, you guys are so lucky!! My mum won't let me go without a friend
This sucks, cause no one I know wants to go or pay that much! Oh
well.. Maybe some other time.. do come back in June and let me know how
it was!

I am actually going with my friend, Meg, who replied a few posts up. ^^ It's very nice to meet you! Where are you flying from? I will be flying out from New York and I am ecstatic beyond words about this whole trip. Goodness! Just talking about it makes my skin crawl with excitement!

Im from Sydney, what about you.  Im flying out to Rome on the 9th of June and get there on the 10th.

I'm from Melbourne. I leave here on the 24th May and first go to London to visit some friends who live there. I fly to Pescara in Italy to visit some family on the 8th June, then they'll drive me into Rome on the day the tour starts. There's not long to go now, its getting exciting!
Are you doing more travelling after the tour?
