Hello, My girlfriend and I will be going on the NOV 18-24th trip. I am a photographer and wanting to know if anyone else going on this trip is also into photography. I would like to hear what kind of gear you're bringing along. Im packing as light as possible, but my gf still thinks I will look like a pack mule. lol Sorry but Italy is just too cool of a place to go to and not get some nice shots of!

hi thorpe my name is charly im a male from los angeles. i had booked this tour from NOV 18 TO NOV 27 2007 ,but i change my mind and got another tour with contiki.. i will be going to AUSTRALIA IN JANUARY 2008(it will be hot). the only thing that made me change my tour from Italy to Australia was because of the reviews of many contiki travelers doing the Italian Espresso,if u have time read all the good and bad things about the italian espresso tour. most of them are bad reviews and speacially their is like 2 comments were they tell you that you need to pay extra money to use the bathroom to take a shower at the hotel.. u better check that detail too. besides it is rainning season in italy ( i dont like rain) so i rather go DOWN UNDER AUSTRALIA and enjoy the hot sun and take a nice tan.. p.s all the comments of australia tours are very good.dont forget your umbrella you and your girlfriend are going to need it lol ..enjoy
Thanks for the tips Charly. Despite the rain, its still Italy and Im sure it will be fun. Either way we'll make the best of it! Have fun in Australia. I've been there before, you'll like it im sure.
