Yeah ill be on my own too - alittle nervous about that! I fly into Rome from London at about 11am that day, and ive heard that the hotel is pretty far out of the city so hopefully i wont be too hard to get to.

I know what u mean by nervous! I'm flying to rome from sydney i think i'll be getting there a day early just so i know where i am and get myself organised.. Its nice knowing someone else is going by themselves too.. I was like great one of the most romantic cities on earth and i'm going to be by myself.. I was stressing i would be the only one who was travelling alone.. Thanks for replying!!

yeah i know what you mean, i had this image of me just rocking up on the bus on my own with heaps of couples and friends. Im doing the share room thing - hoping that will be ok too.

hmmm who knows?? When u go a day earlier are you staying in the contiki hotel or a different one?

I'm not sure as yet got to work that one out.. I was going to stay at the contiki hotel but i also wanted to book in with everyone else so i got to work it all out.. I don't want to get suck with people not on my tour..

maybe book one closer in rome, your coming straight from Aus so you'll prob be jet lagged a bit too, then maybe head down to the contiki one later. we can always arragnge to meet
