I believe we go to Tiffany's on our tour but I don't think I will be spending ne money in store but I think it would be amazing to see. Also on the night of the 30th the BA explorer people have the Broadway show option which we can do but we have to organise it ourselves and pay ourselves if you want to come with us? Shopping sounds good but I have to stick to budget or else I will have no money for the rest of the trip!

Oh I cant wait to go to Tiffany's! Im holding out buying something until I get to New York, so its definitely a must for me!
I'd be happy to go to a broadway show if that's what the majority is doing - although if we dont go Im not fussed either.
Ive seen some footage of the Jetboat ride in Montreal and it looks fantastic!
- Kinda scary though Paul... Eeker

Hopefully the weather is good on the day!
Also what's the medieval thing people have been talking about for this tour?

Hey Kat. does it really matter what the weather will be like for the jet boat ride. looks like we will be getting wet no matter what. Bring it on. The medieval thing is a sort of dinner show I want to go to in Toronto.

I agree with paul we are going to get wet neway who cares it will be great. I thinking of buying a Disposable camera thats water proof to take on trips like this where we get wet so I can still take photos.

Good point, I didnt even consider that! Duh!
The medieval dinner/show sounds fun too. How long do we have in New York at the start of the tour?
What extras are people doing in Chicago?

Yeh the jetboat ride does look like fun hey?! Cant wait!
I would like to do the extra that contiki offer for Chicago but since we have a couple of days there I wouldnt mind checking out other stuff too. The brochure says "follow in the steps of Al Capone".. I have no idea what that means but Im sure there would be some sort of touristy thing we can do involving one of the most famous mafia families ever! That would be very cool!
The disposable camera idea is great. Definitely worth it on the jetboat rides!

Ok i'm looking for stuff to do in Chicago and here are links to some of the things i've found.

1. Chicago Architectural Cruise

2. Tommy Gun's Garage, Dinner Show - Chicago

http://www.buychicagotours.com/tours/chicago_tommy_guns_dinnerl_show.html

3. The Untouchables Tour (Al Capone)
Today, you can take in the history of Chicago's seedy past with an Untouchable Gangster Tour. The tours, which run every day and take two hours, are led by guides wearing gangster suits and talking the lingo. For $24 you'll be ushered on board an old school bus that's been painted black to make it look like an old gangster car. The guides are funny but also extremely knowledgeable. You can take in the sights like Cicero Restaurant where Capone had a speakeasy; Al Capone's brewery; Holy Name Cathedral, site of an assassination; Chinatown - Capone's area with the church where he prayed, his first place of work, and where he first shot a gangster; the Sicilian neighbourhood, and the site of the St. Valentine Day's Massacre.

5. Sears Tower skydeck

6. Museum of Contempory Art

7. Shopping Heres a link to a web site that looks good for shop info.

8. Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. I think this might be dinner sorted for one night we are in town.

Awesome!! Tommy's Gun Garage sounds fantastic! I have to say Paul - I'm impressed. So, you may say now you have no life but by the looks of things when you get over there you will have the best one!
Do you guys have the same amount of time in Chicago as the North by North East guys do? If so, we could do our choice of extras together Wink
