Sarah and I will be staying at the Hotel Beacon for four days after our first tour (Eastern Discovery) before joining NbNE. That's the Contiki hotel on 75th and Broadway I think (Something like that). We will also stay an extra night in Chicago before we come home.

Broadway show would be cool. I read that tickets can be up to half price on the day of the show you want to see. So someone might want to look into that.
I really wanna see some wretling while im in the states. I am hoping there will be a show or live event near by while on tour. Sad I know liking wrestling but it is another thing that keeps me from going nuts.

If there are any majorily dodgy mess ups in this post, its because I broke my wrist on the weekend, it hurts like hell and the painkillers make me feel like i have been hit by a truck. also it is stopping me from working. Arrgh I need the money! Must get spending money Smiler

My email address is angelicgirl2000@hotmail.com if anyone wants to chat.

Can't wait to meet you all.

Hi there Everyone!

My little sister and I are going to be on this tour and are very excited! We are in New York for a couple of nights before tour starts if anyone wants to meet up and do stuff. At end we are flying to Las Vegas to do the California Highlights tour.
I have previously done a contiki tour through Europe and had the time of my life! I hope this one will be just as good!
Be great to meet up with you all.

Live Life to the Max!
Cheers Debbie

Hey ya. Since I love my shows I have looked into this a little. There are several ways of being able to get cheap tickets. One is to rock up at the show on the night and hope they have some left or there is a booth.....mabey times square...not sure and they have cheep tickets there but once again for the day/night that you get them. There are a coupe I want to see but I thought Avenue Q (if it is still playing) would be a good group activity. It is basically Seseme Street for adults, but not quite as bad as the Feebles..the NZers should know what Im talking about.

As it turns out peoples I wont be staying at the Beacon the night before. I found out how much it cost and decided to just get up realy early and either subway it or taxi it. I save quite a bit by doing that. Dont get me wrong I still want to catch up with everyone I just have to do it from a distance =)

There is a booth to get show tickets at Timesquare but there is also on down where you get ferrys the the statue of liberty. It's not as busy as timesquare but has all the same stuff I think.Hey Heather where did you see the bad reviews of the Davinci? I wouldn't mind reading them. All the one's except two have been good.

Hey, who's interested in doing the Boston Duck Tour? Its more exciting than the trolley tour, and it goes on the Charles river.I did one in 2004, and wouldn't mind doing another one. Also, we need to visit Borders Mex cafe in Harvard, its good. They also do "St Paulie Girls", which is a non alcoholic beer. Paul, you could drink more than two of those.

Hey guys is there somewhere I can see all the optional extras or do I need to wait till I get the pack? I am limited in funds and must pick and choose what I do. Yes yes I will be a poor @ss. Dont mind though cause I found a huge factory outlet centre just outside of the city and a bus charter to take me there SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!

Heather,
if you go to the tour on the website you can view the extra on the tour webpage. They have all the prices as well so you can plan ahead.

I can't wait to get to Boston. I wanna see Fenway Park and maybe check out Harvard and i am also looking forward to seeing Niagra Falls.
My sister and I are also going to suss out the majorly deep pan pizzas in Chicago that they showed on the amazing race as well as the pizza pot pies.

Don't tell my sister about the factory outlet or she will be there in a second. I blame you if she spens all her money Heather. Ha Ha

Well as it turns out I am pretty lucky and am not all that interested in the optional extras, I like to walk around a city and get a feel for it that way. You can usually find things that 'arnt on the map'. I will do a couple of things but since I have jetboated and gone on a helicopter it doesnt hold much attraction. Pizza sounds good as well as the partying!!! I might have to save my money for that or find some cute local to buy me drinks =)

Oh and Claire I dont think the shopping will be an issue because from what I can tell its an all day thing so she might only be able to go shopping in the city and not at the outlet...not to worry I can help her spend her money there as well.
