SHOPPING IN NEW YORK CITY!!!
Now I have your attention.

Little sister and I are wondering whether anyone would like to go to the biggest outlet mall in New York states. It has 220 True Outlet stores in it as well as other shops.

Now the hitch is it is 55 mins out of new york in Central Valley, but if we head on out early we will get plenty of shopping in.

We just seeing if anyone likes the idea, because if people do then we might looking into transport i.e. hiring a mini bus or something to travel up there, and splitting costs.

Its just an idea we have as we are keen but would like have other lovely people with us as well.

I believe you are talking about woodbury commons. I have had a look there and you can catch a bus and it costs $35. But yes like you have mentioned it is a full day thing. I would go but I have already organised something on Long Island the second day I am there. Its not as big but I think it is more clothing instead of everything.

Hey guys, don't think i'll have time to do the big outlet shopping in NY, but I do know what Claire and I will be doing on June 2nd in Boston. We've got Red Sox tickets. Only cost as much as you would pay for a small hatch back but heck it's Yankees vs Red Sox. I hear there are some really good bars next to Fenway so maybe we could all hang out there that night. The palce should be going off unless the Yankees win Smiler

Boston is no more dangerous than any other city. You just need to be alert, same as anywhere. I found it a very friendly city, even late at night.Shouldnt be any problems, especially if we are in a group.

I havent really heard anything about any of the cities we're visiting being dangerous (apart from New York, but that's a given) but I agree with kiwi - i think its just a matter of keeping your wits about you and staying in a group... and by the looks of things its going to be a pretty big group! 48 days to go!

I already have a pile in one corner of my room with the stuff that I am taking. I even have lists etc. I am such a nut about packing. Almost guarenteed that I will be completely packed 1 week before I leave.

I am sooo excited about goin to Fenway to watch the Sox cream the Yankees. MWAHHAHA. I have asked a friend of mine to watch the game on TV as I said I will run around carrying an australian flag like an idiot so they can see proof I was actually there!

Paul you may want to not know me during that time or you can join in the fun.

I have a big favour to ask of everyone else during the time I am at the game. My sister is well known to be able to look after herself but I was hoping that someone could keep an eye on her while I at the game, maybe go shopping with her or go and look at the Monets they have at the art musuem (she is a big fan). I know its a big ask but I would like to know she is okay while I am not there. She is going to kill me if she reads this.

I have a shelf at home with stuff we are taking. Actually I have a Bert Newton Mask I am taking with me, to try and win back some money I will be spending thru the "Where's Bert" comp on family feud. Maybe you guys can print one off as well and we can take photos as we travel around? Go to ninemsn.com.au/familyfeud and print one off.

Not long to go now! YAY YAY!
