Hi Shels22,

Whereabouts in Canada are you from? I'm from Hamilton and am strongly considering this tour in July.

Wow, you live pretty close then! As well as Shels 22. If I can get the time off to go for July 14th it would be great to have fellow Canadians on the tour.

I just looked at the Dates & Rates section for this trip and July 14th now shows Not Available. I guess it's fully booked Frowner It's too bad because after seeing how many Canadians are on this trip, I really wanted to go on this date. I may have to take my chances and try a non-guaranteed date instead. I'd really like to go in July as I may be visiting family in Italy during that month at some point.
Well I hope you all have a great time, I'm sure it will be a blast!

Vince,
Two weeks ago, before we booked, it also said NOT AVAILABLE. We went through a travel agent and she got us in, then I noticed it changed to call for availability. You might want to try calling if you are interested in this date specifically. Maybe go through a travel agent, they might have more access. (we just went through the travel agency attached to Walmart.)
Also keep checking, you can "hold" a place on a tour for a week without putting a down payment, so people might change their minds and back out. Hope this helps!

Hi rowdaminch,

Thanks so much for the advice, I really appreciate it! Smiler I am going to go to the travel agent tomorrow (Sat 23rd) and see if the agent can get me on this tour. It will be just me by myself so it might not be too hard to squeeze 1 more person. I hope so! I'll know by tomorrow.

Looks like I can't get on July 12th, so I'm going to have to book for July 19th. I hope everyone has a great time, I'm sure this tour will be a blast. I'll just have to put it off a week and then try to visit family in Italy afterwards.

We're now trying to book a decent, yet reasonably-priced hotel for 4 nights in London before the trip. Anybody else coming to London early? Any ideas of where to stay?
I also found out, even when you don't fly through Contiki, you get one night in their hotel before the trip starts on July 14th.
