Hey everyone!! I am going on my first tour in September 08 so I have been reading the forums to get some advice. I noticed that some people prefer to bring debit cards than exchanging money into euros or pounds. I am from the United States and I'm thinking it might be more convienant for me to just use my debit card. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I'm going in August, also from the US. I've decided against travellers checks and will just be using my debit card. Since we're flying into Heathrow, I think I'll order british pounds from my bank beforehand so I don't have to worry about getting any right away. Can't wait!! =)
