Just checking to see who is going on the Road to Athens tour on July 23, 2006? Let me know if you have any good tips from other tours you've been on or some of the things you are really looking forward to on this tour. Well hope to hear from you!!

My friend and I are going on this tour.  We leave from JFK and arrive in London Imperial Hotel I believe.   Are you traveling with anyone? 

I can't wait for this tour... I just hope that we have cool people on this trip. This is my first time taking a tour... what about you?

 
I have been to Italy numerous times since I have family there.  I also have studied there and lived there, as well as in Spain.

I am going on this tour as well. i just booked it and im going solo.  I have never been to Europe before so i am super excited.  Im from Nova Scotia , Canada...  after the tour, i am staying in athens and then heading to the islands.  i am not doing that on an organized tour because ive been told by many many people that is it much better to do that alone...are you interested in going to the islands as well?

Less than a week to go!!!!! I am so glad to see that you girls wrote back to me on here, I can't wait to meet you. I don't know about you but I'm already packed and this week is going very slowly!! My friend Tara and I are from a small town in Alberta so we are really excited about the trip. After the trip we are going to stop and visit her family in Newfoundland on the way back home for a few days. Well anyways, I look forward to reading more about you. Have fun packing and fly safe!!!

We are soooooo excited too!  But we're not packed yet!  I'm having all these outfit dilemmas... uffa!  And then the whole money situation... what are you doing?  I''m do undecided since this is my first tour in Europe.  I have been to Italy and Spain many times but nothing like a tour deal...
Anyways, hope to hear from you before the trip, if not, can't wait to meet you!  buon viaggio e buon volo!  See you in LONDON!  What time will you be there?  We are flying into Heathrow at 625am!  So we will have sometime to kill before check in...

18 hours to go until we leave Edmonton. Holy cow I am getting really excited, it wasn't really real until today. I have butterfly's!! Antonietta you wanted to know about money, this might be late but I got about 100 pounds and 100 franks then a really good amount of euro's and then I don't have to use my bank card too much because the fee's can get pretty high I didn't get travelers checks because I am hoping that once I get to a certain amount I will start looking for a bank machine so I don't run out, plus I have my VISA for any real purchases. It's a little late for what I'm doing with mnoney but I am sure as long as you bring some money and your VISA you'll be ok. I have never taveled before but I had a friend who when on a 2 week contiki tour and she said they have bank machines so I went that route! Anyways, I look forward to meeting you. Safe Flying!!
