Nope. This would be the first. I've heard some really good things about it though. Have you been on any Contiki trips?

Ya, I did the UK/Ireland tour last year it was fantastic. Check out www.davechallegers.com travelogue. I just finished reading it all week It was getting me pumped for this summers trip.
The demographics on his trip were similar to mine.
We didn't get as crazy as his group did but I did have a few people on mine that did the UE trip and its pretty intense to spend 47 days with the same people. But, everyone on his and mine got along great with each other. Also, the best part is going solo. More then half of my tour was solo travelers. A few couples and twosomes and threesomes. A great mix of people mostly 18 to 25.

UE, I'm assuming you mean the Ultimate European. I originally wanted to do that one plus the Greek Islands but couldn't get the time off for it. What was your favorite part about that trip? davechallenger is an awesome site, I'm just looking it over now. He's got everything on here!
So question....if you've done the UE trip already why do the Road to Athens? Haven't you done most of these places already, wouldn't you want try something new, like Australia/NewZealand or other European countries you haven't seen yet?

I haven't done the UE. Last yr I did Contiki's UK and Ireland tour. The best part was my tour mates for sure. As for cities I loved Edinburgh.

The last four yrs i've done France, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, UK and Ireland extensively. That's why I'm doing the lower end Switzerland, Italy, and Greece. Plus I need some sun! We've had 5 months of snow here in Toronto, CA.

Ok. Sorry I misundertood. I thought you did the Ultimate E tour. UK and Ireland must have been amazing.A friend of mine lived in Edinburgh for a while, some sort of exchange program, she loved it there.
Wow....your quite the traveller. I hope I can say I've been to that many places in the next couple years. Unfortunately I got the travel bug a little later than everyone else I know. I've done abit of North America (East Coast/PEI,Vancouver, NYC, Cape Cod. Florida and Cabo San Lucas/Mexico) defintely nothing like this trip. I here ya about the sun. I'm sure Toronto has gotten alot of snow but Ottawa, well lets just say I think we are very close to breaking the record for most snow fallen. Our snowbanks are nearing 12 ft. It's crazy.
so was the Uk/ Ireland trip the only one you did with Contiki or did you do some of the other countries you've been to through them?

Ya this snow storm is annoying! People can not drive in it here. But, looking on the bright side, I get to con't my snowboarding season in woeful Ontario.

As for Contiki, I only did the UK/Ireland tour last yr. The yr before last aka summer 2006. I ventured off to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and the Czech Republic with my cousin. We spent all of July there. The world cup was unbelievable!
