Hey everyone! I have just booked my tour for road to athens leaving on May 31st a few days ago. I am doing this tour Solo and was wondering who else would be on the same tour. I'm very excited to be doing this as I have never been traveling on my own. Please get back and let me know!

Hi! I might be doing this trip and I'm from BC too..and also going solo! I haven't booked it yet because I'm still looking at other options but I was thinking of doing this tour then the Golden Fleece afterwards.

I to am going on the RTA tour on the 31st. My friend Nicole and I are both departing from Vancouver as well (she's from Vancouver and I'm from Cranbrook). Who knows maybe we'll all be on the same flight, if so you are more than welcome to go around London with my friend and I before the trip officailly starts.

That sounds great! I'm not too sure what flight I am on but I wouldn't be suprised if we were all ont he same flight. I so excitied I never been anywhere really so it's going to be wicked. How much clothes are you taking? I have no idea what I should bring...

I'm going to keep my packing simple: I'm packing a bunch of sundresses as they are light to pack and really comfortable, I'm packing only a couple pairs of pants and three pairs of shoes(1 for walking, 1 pair of flip flops, and a pair of dress shoes for going out).

How did you book? Did you book yourself or use a travel agent?

This trip should be really fun, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you? I'm 25.

Thats sounds good. Ya I'm thinking about bringing the same sorta things. Light dresses, sandles, a few pants and something dressy.
I booked my trip through a travel agent. I really didn't want to have to think much to plan this. It was really easy and helpful doing it that way.
I am 20. I'm hoping I won't be the "baby" on the trip... I was trying to get my boyfriend to come, but he doesn't have the money for it right now... More fun for me haha (kidding!)

Don't worry I'm sure you won't be the "baby" of the group. If you do end up being the baby of the group, don't worry it is always way more fun to be the baby than the oldie of the group. Now that I think about it I wish I was the "baby" of the group.

My boyfriend is not coming as I just dumped him so there will definitely be more fun for me.

Im leaving Sydney, Australia on the 31st of May for the June 2 Road to Athens trip. Are any of you staying in the Greek Islands after your trip cause me and my mate will be there on the 16th till the 23rd.

I also think me and my mate will be the baby's of the tour as where both 18. And yea i think it is better to be the baby then the oldey haha, cause we got more time to do more contiking :P

Those are some good points! But looks like a won't be the baby anyways... but close enough. I wish I could stay longer on the island but I have to get back to work . Are you guys staying for the tour in greece? I am but I have to stay an extra night because my plane leaves that morning. It nice to get to chat to other people going on the same trip.
About boyfriends, Mine is a little worried about me not coming home. haha I can't say I wouldn't but I doubt it...

I am staying one extra night afterwards in Greece as well. I would like to stay longer but I have to get back to work because where I work they aren't very giving when it comes to time. Unless I call in sick...........

haha ya just say you got some Foreign Disease, at are too sick to fly back at the time, but as soon as your better (in another week) You'll come right back to work! I better not get sick on this tour that would be pretty crapy. I haven't been sick yet watch it'll be those 2 weeks haha

I know I'll just tell them that I got mono from some guy in Greece. I'll give them a big sob story with tears and everything saying that he looked like a nice clean guy.

Or I could tell my work that I have a massive hangover that will only be cured by healing Greek water which takes about a week before it starts to work and I couldn't possibly leave half way through my "treatment"

I will be on the RTA tour starting on june 2. I am leaving from toronto on may 29th and spending a few days in london before the tour starts. I am travelling solo and this is my 2nd time to europe but my first contiki tour.
