I'm only going as far as Rome with this tour, work won't allow me the extra few days off, LOL. When are you arriving in London?

I'm doing this tour with a mate of mine and we'll be getting to London on the 1st to check out the sights. How about you? Are you staying in the Royal National before the tour?

I get in on the 1st also, about 11:05am. That night I may go see As You Like It at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, tickets are only 5euro for a groundling. I'm 99% sure I'm going to be staying at the Royal National, I'm booking it this week. I wish I could take the extra days off work, but I typically only get 7 days vacation, so I had to beg for the extra week off as is. LOL.

Yeah, my plane gets in at about 11am too from D.C. Are you flying with United? They're such a bad airline but eh, it's a night flight so I'll just sleep!

Are you travelling alone, or coming with a friend?

I'm flying US airways, not the best but as you said, I'm planning on sleeping! I'm coming alone, a friend of mine, who is actually from Melbourne, was going to meet me there but is unable to go, so I'm on my own! Kinda nervous being alone, female, and in another country, but I figure I'll be with a group and will make new friends to hang out with! You're doing the tour with a friend, right?

hey Jess! Yeah it really sucks I can't go on to Greece with you, but there's no way I could ask for more time off work. I am dying to get to Greece, especially Corfu, but I'm planning on taking the European Contrasts tour in the summer of 2010 then going to stay with a friend who is from northern Greece and spends her summers there, so I'll get there eventually.

Lucky you... i wish i could go again to europe next year downfall for living so far... hehe. For me it 2 months before i get to europe which is exciting cuz im going to spain for a month before the tour to visit relatives then from there ill head to london a couple days before our tour. So thats kool that you get there the same day as mark and i... have you decided where you will be staying.... take care jess

I just booked my room at the Royal National for the 1st. When I called Contiki to book it they told me our tour is actually starting at the Imperial and that is where they're rooming us on Sunday, but I opted to stay at the other one for Saturday night.

You are soooo lucky you're going to Spain! It was a complete toss up between the tour I had originally booked (Simply Italy) and the Spanish Spree. I hope to get to Spain eventually!

Dont worry im sure i will have a kick ass time in amsterdam! the saturday night i think im booked out already, im going to watch Arsenal (soccer) at the emirates stadium and then going out somewhere after that, my mate lives in london and has organised my weekend, we will have plenty of time for drinks on contiki
