Do the trips that leave in early May usually get filled up?

Yes- its "dead" in May and the water/weather isnt so great for the beach. I've been in May, and unless you are a senior citizen, its too quiet. I also went July/August and it was incredible- such a vibe- all of Europe there on vacation!

very nice. I was kicking myself in the head for not booking in may cause the airfare is considerably lower. but I'm going in june and I know at least the vibe will be better there than in may! and the water should be nice.
either way I don't think you can go really wrong with this trip even in may, but I want to experience GIH at its peak
