I've booked Greek Island Hopping Aug 27 to Sept 8th for 2008, today at the Perth travel expo! Its gonna be right after my big UE tour, so I'll be doing two tours back-to-back. To make everything final I'll be putting down a deposit tomorrow

I've been thinking about going on this GIH tour. Still not 100% sure . . . I've never done a contiki tour before and maybe traveling by myself.

theres sooo many tours to choose from!
i am considering greek islands as i have always wanted to go there and know my boyfriend isnt really interested in it in the future.

would anyone be keen to head off to somewhere else near by after the tour? maybe a cruise boat? or just to a beautiful island?

I'm thinking of doing this tour as well - I am trying to decide between this one and Golden Fleece leaving on August 26th.

I like the fact that GIH gives you more time on each island, but Golden Fleece goes to Turkey and this one doesn't.

I'll be traveling alone and this will be my second Contiki tour - I did Egypt and the Nile a few months ago and had an awesome time.

I'm 27/f from Wellington, New Zealand. Will be contiki-ing solo then afterwards setting up in London to get work & then do more travel for the next few years!

Definitely want to do a Greece Contiki late Sep/early oct but I can't decide between spotlight on greece + cruising vs GIH + spotlight...really tempted to get on the GIH though.

Looks like quite a few on this thread are going so it sounds like good times already
