I'm planning on going on the may 12 greek islands trip, but I don't see any interest on the boards about it, so I'm kinda getting worried, plus it looks like my friend won't be able to make it, so I'm going alone, so I would really like to find someone else going to at least talk with before the trip so I have some friends beforehand to connect with. Hey Melissa - I got your message, but actually switched to the 9th departure instead. You'll be fine by yourself, in fact you might be able to meet more people on your tour because you're by yourself instead of spending that time with your friend.

I took the plunge and booked today! I decided to leave a day early and stay a day later, just to make the transition a little easier, so I have some time to relax beforehand and catch up with the jet lag. I'm booked as a single for the day before and day after..so if anyone needs a roommate for the night of May 11 and/or May 25, let me know! Also, since I have no clue what I'm gonna do by myself, if anyone else thinks they'll be at the hotel early, please get in touch!

I just booked today for the May 12th trip. I'm excited but my buddy backed out on me so I'm going solo. 21/M/PA looking forward to meeting everybody out there. If anyone has done one of these trips alone before, got any advice?

hey fellow PA'er :-) I'm in King of Prussia, 30 mins from Philly...I did Simply Italy alone in 2004 and had a good time, lots of honeymooners, but became good friends with my roommate there and we still keep in touch..had someone to visit in NYC for a little while until she moved, which was fun...are you going early or staying later, whats ur name?

If I go early it'd be to Rome for a day or two and then head over to Athens on the 12th...I can't stay any later unfortunately because I start a new job on the 29th so I have to get back. My family now lives in NEPA so I drive by King of Prussia every now and then on my way home from the University of Pittsburgh. I'm originally from NYC by the way.

I'm 29...any thoughts on what excursions you want to do? well so far looks like its 5 of us singles on the boards lol..are all of you planning on taking taxis to the hotel from the airport?
