Hey I'm heading on the Island Hopping tour on sept 13.......traveling for the first time by myself is anyone else going around the same time as be leaving from vancouver, BC CANADA?

We're heading to Greece the same day, but leaving from the California. From what I've read, it's going to be a fun trip. We're pretty excited.

I am travelling solo as well and am from Vancouver. I am so looking forward to this trip. However, prior to this trip I am doing the Simply Italy tour and will be arriving in Athens from Rome on the 12th.

Well I'm pretty nervouse about the whole thing and excited at the same time, any tips of getting from the airport to the hotel..taxi?, bus, train??

I'm with you on the whole nervousness thing. I have never done any major travelling before. I am just starting to look into transportation between airports and hotels. I haven't figured out what would be the best. Once I really start gathering information I will definitely share

Wow ... we have fallen way down the list ... thought I would bump us up. So, Roxy have you made any decisions or found any good info about how to get to our hotel from the airport? Are you doing any extra travelling after the tour?

I'm from California. This is my first Contiki trip. Have you done any tours before?

I haven't done any travelling as of yet but I leave in 21 days on the Simply Italy tour before our Island Hopping begins.

Sorry I have not wrote back, but I have decided to NOT do the contiki tour, I'm still heading to Greece but on Sept 20 and I'm gunna just do my own thing, fly by the seat of my pants!! Not to sure what your itinerary is but maybe we will still cross paths. Hope you all have a fantastic time and be safe
