Hey, anyone out there going on the Greek Island Hopping tour September 16th? I would love to meet some fellow travelors before our trip since I will be traveling solo. Looking forward to another great experience with Contiki! Natasha

I was thinking of taking this same tour -- I'd also be travelling alone, and I'm from Canada too. I took the Greek Island Hopping tour four years ago and had an absolute blast -- I really want to get back!

I did the Mediterranian tour a few years ago and had a great time but we were constantly on the go. I figure the Greek Island Hopping will be more of a vacation at the beach. Keep me posted if you decide to go. Are you from Toronto?

Hi!!

I'm going on this tour in September (it will be my first) but I'm not certain of my departure date yet. After weeks of humming and harring, my friend and I finally went to the travel agent today to start the ball rolling!!

We thought we would go to Hawaii, but today decided that we'd rather party hearty in Greece instead

I'm so so excited, absolutely can't wait :-)

What's the weather like that time of year there? Gorgeous? I hope so!

Nope, not Toronto -- I'm on the West Coast in BC. You're absolutely right about the Island Hopping -- compared to other Contiki tours it's incredibly relaxed. Loads of time to lounge in the sun, dance, shop... The last time I was there it was August and the weather was amazing, but everywhere we went was ridicuously busy. I questioned going in September, but then I thought, it's Greece! The sun never stops shining, doesn't it? I should book within a week or so, so I'll be sure to keep you posted!

Hawaii is beautiful. I was there a long time ago but there's something about going to Greece that's exotic.

I spoke to my travel agent about the weather in September before booking and she said that the weather is still great that time of year but she wouldn't recommend going any later then September.
 
I can't wait to be lying on the beach, shopping, & meeting new people. Let me know if you decide to go. I'm sure it will be a blast!

I can't wait! I asked my travel agent about the weather in September and she said it would still be beautiful. I've been reading a book about Greece and the pictures are just amazing. When you did the tour what did you think of the resort in Mokonos?
