I'm planning on going on the greek island hopping tour in july and I will be traveling alone. Just wondering if there is anyone out there that can give any advise, or what not about the tour and traveling alone.

p.s.
this will also be my first trip alone so I need all the advise I can get.

My best friend Barry and I are booked in on the 5th Aug - 17th Aug Greek Island Hopping tour. Its going to be awesome! July/August is the best time to go. You'll have a great time. Don't worry about travelling alone as most people on Contiki Tours are travelling solo. You'll make heaps of friends on your tour. Where in USA are you from? I'm from Perth, Australia.

Hey- I am looking into booking this trip but I am alone also, and nervous, but its good to hear than solo is ok! Thinking about this trip or the Agean adventure, what made you pick this one?

I think you'll be fine going alone... or at least thats what everyone is telling me :-)
I originally wanted to just go to the mykonos resort but island hopping sounded like fun and I get to still go to the resort too.
When were you thinking about going?

I want to go on this tour too! I'm worried about booking it alone. Are you travelling anywhere else after? I want to go to Egypt after. I did the European Highlights last summer and it was so much fun!!

Your not alone!! Im booked on this greek island hopping i'm predicting its going to be insane!! Im under the inpression there are alot of us solo travellers, I wouldn't worry about travel solo, there are so many people around to help if you need it. Are you arriving early or the day the tour starts? I'm arriving in Greece July 25th to check it out, get use to the time difference and all that good stuff.

oops, I see your going June 26, I won't be there quite yet. But have a wicked time, be sure to post how good it was!
