Hi,

I am thinking about taking the greek island hopping and am planning to go solo. I am a bit concerned since I am older and have never taken a contiki tour before. Is there anyone else who is planning to join this tour that is around my age? I don't want to be the oldest one there =)

I just went on the Greek Isle Hopping with a friend and I am 31, and there were people on the trip who were 35. I had never done Contiki either. The majority were in their 20's, in fact two of them turned 28 on the trip. So don't worry about the age. Of course people in their 30's aren't so heavily into the drinking/partying/worrying about fitting in as the 20-somethings, and if anything it was amusing to watch.
As far as going solo, many people did. You have a better chance of making friends. The way the trip is run, you go on lots of excursions as a group so you wont be solo. Everyone becomes really like a community. I highly recommend this trip if you really want to have a fun time- and if you can, get Nick as a tour guide. You will meet so many people!
