That's exactly what I was thinking.. I'm planning to spend a couple of months in Europe.. might as well since I'm already over there! If you can come to Europe earlier, you should do the "London to Athens + Greek Island Hopping" leaving on June 14th/16th (the date is kind of confusing). It's a 20 day trip from London to Athens (with a stop in Corfu!) and then it picks up with this group to do the Greek Island Hopping.. not to mention you save like $600 off what it would cost to do the two trips separately. There's already 9 of us in a facebook group chatting about it
That sounds fun, but the tour I did last year covered majority of those places, Im thinking of doing spanish spree but the dates aren't matching up that well. we'll see

I'm traveling solo (my first Contiki trip!) and will be arriving in Athens on the 6th late afternoon. What time is everyone else arriving? Going to pick up my package this afternoon, yay!

Hi there ... I am doing the GIH tour starting on July 5th. I get into Athens around 5:30 pm on Sunday July 5th. I have booked an extra night hotel at the one that we meet the rest of our group. I just booked yesterday and I am excited ... trying to figure out what to pack. I joined the FB group for the GIH 2009 - is there one for our specific time?
