Hey I have booked in for the 13th also. Brisbane guy, solo traveler. Not a good ratio so far.... The first 4 people i meet going are all guys . This is my first time in Europe, can't wait. Heard heaps of good things.

Great to see a few people on the forum going on the trip. Have any of you done a Contiki before or been anywhere else in Europe?

I am 22, and flying solo. My friends couldn't get there act together with savings, and i would probably prefer to go solo anyway.

At least that way you can do your own thing. I didn't want to have to be considerate of another persons interests and miss out doing other things.

Hey everyone.... myself and 3 friends are booked for July 13th GIH. We are all Canadian. This is my second contiki tour, loved the first and super excited for the next. my first tour was in australia so i'm looking forward to hearing the ozzie accent again.

I'm thinking about doing this tour..Either this date or July 11 instead. How old is everyone?

Nice to see some Canadians on board. I hope we get heaps of diversity in the tour, it would be disappointing if EVERYONE was from Australia...

In some ways, the meeting forum is kind of pointless... It would be so much better if the profiles that are kept in the general Contiki site could be used in the forums. It would be interesting to see photos, and hear interests, hobbies etc etc. Oh well.

I'm 22 and cant wait for the trip to kick off. Are any of you guys arriving a day early and staying at the Seaview Hotel??

I'm sure there will be lots of diversity in the group based on past experience with Contiki. It's likely that there are lots of people going on the tour that don't bother to look at the forums. I'm actually surprised there is this many people in the forum already.

oh yeah. i'm 24 but i'll be celebrating my 25th birthday on the trip. one more reason to party

I'm arriving on the 11th, and staying at the Pan Hotel. I am pretty much just going to be in Athens on my own for the first couple of days, so i would definitely be keen to meet up with anyone else who is going to be there early!!
