Anyone going on the July 20th Spotlight on Greece plus 3 day island cruise?

Hi. I just booked the tour. It's my second time to travel on Contiki, and I am already so excited

I am doing Spotlight on Greece alone, but not the cruise. And will stay in the city for a couple of days after.

When do you arrive in Athens? My flight gets in around 2PM on Sunday, July 19th.

I will fly in at 2:00 AM, July 20th, and, I think, will arrive to the hotel early that morning.What's your plans for that day?
I am very nervous until they guarantee to operate the tour, and checking the calender at work every now and then.

I'm probably just going to walk around the city. We're supposed to get a city tour on the 21st, but I'm not sure how much it covers. I'll probably try to check out the sights it won't be covering and hang out around the Plaka. I'm a little worried too that the trip isn't gauranteed yet, but it's still early. So, where are you from?

Right, there's still 3 months. I haven't checked guidebooks yet and have no idea what or which area to do. That's a good idea you check which area the tour is covering.
I am from Tokyo, Japan. How about you? What's your plan of the whole trip(I saw your other posts and knew that you are making a round trip in Europe.)

I'm from the US. I currently live in St. Louis, MO but I'm in the process of moving to Seattle, WA. As to my plans for the summer, I'm doing a 10 week trip to Europe (including 4 Contiki tours and a month on my own). I start in the UK, then go to Scandanavia, followed by Benelux and Eastern Europe, and then Greece. Greece will be my last stop before heading home. I haven't done Contiki before, did you enjoy your first experience?

Wow, 10 week trip! I'm jealous I did a tour of eastern Canada and USA several years ago. They covered major sights on the way, gave us enough time to hang out on our own, and we had big night out on every stop. Most people were Australians who were travelling for months, and there were a few Americans from other areas as well.

Hi all, I too am on the 4 day Spotlight on Greece but I am not doing the Cruise either.
Im from New Zealand and am flying in to London on the 5th of July and staying with a Cuz for a week, then a week up in Scotland with a friend before going to Egypt for 4 days.
I fly in to Athens on Mon the 20th about 1.30 pm.
Its my first big trip out of NZ, and can't wait See you all soon...

Hi Naomi, I'm from Hong Kong but am currently studying in London. I arrive in Athens on the 20th at around noon, so maybe we can meet up at the hotel and walk around the area before our tour starts?

I'm also doing the Italian Espresso tour before this one, so am going to be soo exhausted!!
