After the Greece tour, I'm headed to London (on my own), then Paris (not on a tour either).

Yes I'm staying at that hotel 1 night before the tour starts. I'm going on the Italy tour afterwards so can't go traveling afterwards. But you're going to love Paris, it's awesome!

Does anyone know how to get from the airport in Athens to the hotel?
Does Contiki provide us with that information?

Sorry I have no clue how to get to the hotel, just hoping the taxi will know! I think Contiki will be sending over a packet with a bunch of information in it.
I'm also from Cali, living in SF but moving back to LA (my hometown). how about you?

I will be on that trip also! along with a few of my girlfriends. its our first contiki trip. we are coming from NJ, USA.

just with taxi drivers there.. and now i know that the news doesnt mean EVERYONE does it, but gran watches the greek channel 24/7, and keeps hearing about taxi driver horro stories..

APPARENTLY they get you to stickyour luggage in the boot. then after u pay after getting to where u gtta be, when you step out of the car, they drive off with all your stuff!! so keep your **** in the back with u.

other than that, im sure we're all gona be FINE!

Hey NJ girl up there. I'm coming from CA and it's my first Contiki trip. Going solo though. Did you guys all plan this for something special or just fun?! =)

I kinda planned this trip coz i was meant to goto europe last yr during my mid-ear break, but then my uni course got in the way so im off this year coz next year i will have my grown-up job coz i finish uni end of this yr and it'll be my last hance to get away and see the world! YAY!

..that and i got sick of waiting around for my tight-a$$ friends to get their money together to come with me.. hahah so im going without them!

Just fun....trying to get some traveling in before life gets to crazy! Its our first Contiki trip also.

Hi everyone! I'm so glad to see there are other people traveling alone. This is my first TOUR overseas. I usually just wander around until I run into things, which is not very productive. I'm heading on the Spotlight tour, then the three day island hopping. From PA. Looking forward to getting out of the states for a while.
