I am just doing the 4 day, you? I am doing the Mykonos & Island Hopping before this one, then am heading to Spain immediately after!

I am only doing the 4 day tour of Greece. But I am doing a tour of Italy before.

I'm not doing the Greek Island Hopping one, I'm doing Mykonos & Island Cruising. It's shorter and has a cruise for a couple of days. I leave for that one July 6 and it finishes the 14th!

This is my second Contiki. I did the European Encounter last summer. Which tour of Italy are you doing? I loved Italy!

I am doing the Simply Italy tour. I'm very nervous as it will be the first time that I will be in a country where I don't speak the language

But I'm also really excited.

Hey there all, My name is Fatima....im going on the spotlight of greece on the 14th july follwed by the 3 day cruise.....im a solo travler...are any of u guys going on this tour?....kinda new to all this...still wondering if im in the right forum...lol..

Yes... u are in the right forum. I am also going to be going on the tour of Greece starting on the 14 July.

Sadly... I won't be doing the extra 3 days because I have to get back to work

Plus for me it is expensive because Greek Island Hopping requires me to get an additional Visa just to be in Turkey for 1 day.

I am lucky because I have gone before. But this is my first time that I am going to Europe.

Yay!....Im so xcited!, This is not the first time overseas..iv gone to other countries with my family...but this will be the first time im travelling solo...infact im going to Egypt first with my family...then leave them there and then head over by myself to greece ..for a week and then back to Egypt for my cousins engagement party....Im actually arriving in athens on th 13thjuly a day early cos of flights..ohh to answer ur other question ...Yes..this is my 1st on contiki, im rather scared and xcited all at the same time...ur going to love Europe...i see ur doing the Italy tour...i had so much fun there!...Im so glad to hear a response from someone!

If u ever do go to Egypt i gurantee that u will love all the histroy beind it...it truly is amazing....a bet of advice do the river nile cruise down luxor and aswan ....

I would love to see Egypt. Maybe one day!!! Yes... its all exciting and the time is flying.
To be honest..........I don't think that it has all hit me yet that I am actually going. I don't think that that makes sense.

You are lucky to be travelling with your family. Sadly, for ppl in my country... it is extremely expensive to do that.

But at least... with Contiki you are not really alone because you get to travel with a whole bunch of other ppl. That's the fun part.

I think that my big fear is the flying part. I am not scared of flying ... just of airports. And going to airports where you can't speak the language... is extremely daunting.

I am arriving in Athens on the 14th. But I will probably spend 2 extra days in Athens after the tour. Just have a bit of chill time before I fly back home.

My flight schedule back is crazy. I am scheduled to leave at 4am in the morning. I'm not sure if I will still be awake at that time

But its all part of the fun of travelling
