My name is Courtney and I am 23 from Melbourne, but currently am working in the UK.  I am going on this tour with one of my mates from Australia, his sister and one of her friends.  It should be a great tour, I cant wait!  So much beer.  My friend Matt is a little red head who thinks he can drink but really cant, so it should be interesting to see!!

Alright little Matty!

This is typical Matt.  He is the jealous type.  When on the trip, treat him like on of those specially trained dogs, appreciate him but never show him any affection.
I must inform you that Matt is going to use this message board facility to try to embarrass me, and when the trip comes around I am going to have to deny everything that he has said, but most of the things he will write are not true!
He has red hair, so he is little more sensitive than everyone else, constantly needing attention.  The best everyone can do is join together and ignore him, and see how long it takes him to notice that no-one is speaking to him! haha
Ask him to skull a beer in Germany, its so funny to watch him backwash the whole drink back into the glass!!

Just to let you all know, court's likes to bully people. At school she used to be the fat kid, and was constantly picked on, however managed to lose 50 kg's on the Subway Diet. She is also the only person i know who has had their ears pinned back, and buys all their clothes from Myer!

Im so excited about this trip. Probably should get my act into gear and actually book it!

Matt, it is not signiature, it is attached to my photo, so that people can see what the photo is depicting.  Silly rabbit.
I do not have big ears and never had.  I am not against plastic surgery, I just havent had any, but perhaps you should, just so that the people are not too shocked when you meet them.  I mean, in the photo you have on here you look like a camel! Although, we are going to be wearing beer goggles for most of the trip, so it should soften the blow a little bit.  
 I was never the fat kid at school, but matt was.  He is using reverse psychology to make himself feel big.  Ask to see his stretch marks, they are a constant reminder to him of his old life, but there is nothing like bringing the past up! so lets call him Fat Matt, or little fatty princess, he likes that one.
Haha, Myer, Matt loves Myer!  that is seriously a funny story.  As soon as I would see matt wearing something new, it was always from myer.  My favourite is his t-shirt that says 'house music all night long'  with little discs posing as heads wearing earphones, apparently with house music playing, as the t-shirt insinuates.

Also, ask matt about his dog buddy.  He is a real dog person and likes talking about him.

im taking it that you too are getting all this out of the way before we get on the road otherwise me thinks there could be an internal dispute going on and when i am bladdered the opinions start coming out haha...NOT!!

Cant even see the pic thats on your post so cant comment as to what either of you look like (according to each other)...on ym two trips to the land down under i actually found myer ok..bearing in mind from what i remember it was some massive store in the heart of brisbane that actually stocked some decent stuff but gimme UK shops for clothes anyday!!

This trip gets nearer and nearer and soon i think im gonna have to really focus the drinking skills coz those beer tents they have look QUALITY!!

I have nothing against Myer, have purchased quite a bit there actually, they have a nice range of Australia designer clothing, but I do know that other stores exist.  Matt does not.  He hasnt found Myer in Dubai yet, so if he wants clothes, looks like he is screwed.  Sexual predator?  I think thats being a bit harsh.  He is such a little joker!


Matt is the type of guy that buys sportscars to get girls.  But is doesnt work.  His last sportscar, a mazda convertible, was such a chicks car!  Everyone laughed at him when he got it.  Now he has a Monaro, but is still having trouble.  Poor little guy!  He is comical, like a cartoon character.  he is like Ginger Megs, but with smaller eyes...

Hi all,

I'll be on this tour as well.  I'm starting off with the Oktoberfest tour and then going on the London/Paris extended.  This will be my second (and third) Contiki trip.  I was last with Contiki in Sept 04 and did the opening night of Oktoberfest back then.  I have pictures of two of the three mugs of beer I had that night.

Judging from the postings so far, it looks like I'll be the oldest one on this tour being 35. :-|  So this makes it my last two tours with Contiki.  After this, I'll have to buy a walker and tour with old people.

I had a fantastic time last time I was there and really looking forward to spending more time there.  I have to get into the Hofbrauhaus tent this time!
