My friend and I are doing the Oktoberfest trip on Sept. 26. I was wondering where are bags or personal effects will be. I don't know how comfortable I will feel having them setting in my tent while I'm gone all day. Has anyone gone before or know a way we can lock our stuff up?

As far as I know, unfortunately, our belongings stay in the tent .... or you bring em' with you!! We are bringing a padlock for our tent to lock it when we are away ... I'm a bit weary myself personally .... it might be wise to see if there are lockers of some sort in the area.

I just found out that Contiki reps stay on sight all day, kind of like a rotation .... apparently they watch the tents and ensure that nothing happens to our stuff .... but no guarantees .... hope that helps!
