Anyone else going on this tour? I signed up this weekend with my boyfriend. I was told it was already half-full, so I'm hoping it doesn't get cancelled and moved to another date.

I am booked on one starting on May 14-28 for GB and Ireland. Is that the same one?

Um, I don't think so...our "Day 1" starts May 12th, and that's the day that we fly to London. Our trip is 17 days in length...yours? Maybe you're in one of the shorter vacations? There are so many, lol.

Okay so I looked into it...and I think you ARE in my group. Apparently the tour doesn't actually start until May 14th, and that's why it says that...whereas the departure date is the 12th.

And I will clearly never be a travel agent.

Where are you from? Are you travelling alone?

I called Contiki today and talked to a woman about our group departure, and she said it's a guaranteed go, as it's more than half-full now. YAY!

I'm from Toronto, Canada. Is this your first tour? I've been to Europe before, but none of the countries we're visiting. What day/time do you get into London?

This will be my fourth (and possibly last) Contiki tour. I have been on their Canadian Rockies, Hawaii and New Zealand trips.

I have also done a Breakaway Tour of Europe for under 38's back in 2000.

It will probably be my last as I am now 35.

I arrive the morning before (13 May) and I am staying at the Imperial Hotel which is apparently near the Contiki starting point.

Wow, that's awesome! New Zealand will probably be my next trip. But not for a while...I'll be broke for a while after this trip, heh.

My boyfriend and I also get into London on May 13th, I think at around 8:30 am. We'll be staying at the Royal National the first night...I thought that's where everyone stayed at first? I guess we'll find out when we get our itineraries.

We won't be able to check in that early, so we're planning on walking around and stuff. If you'll be around and bored, you're welcome to join us...I may be considering dragging my boyfriend to Madamme Tussaud's Wax Museum though, word of warning. Haha!

I get in at 6am. Yawn.

Hey you two! I'm also on this trip, however for the 8 day Britain trip only. I also arrive 13 May in Londo in the eveningn! I will be at Royal National! However, think by the time I get in, it's dinner! :P

Hey guys. This is cool being able to talk to some people who are also going on this trip. I guess everyone's scattered though for the different trips or whatever they picked. Terry, I'm actually Dani's "+1" so i guess so far there's only 4 of us on this.

How have all your other contiki tours been like? Explorer, is this your first one?

According to the web site our tour is now "fully booked" so there has to be more than 4 of us!

All my other tours have been excellent. No complaints.

My boyfriend and I just signed up for the Great Britain/Southern Ireland tour. We're looking forward to meeting all of you!
