Hi Tess, I hate waiting so long for someone to reply...sorry I'm not going on this one but I am going on the one in Feb. Just wondering if you've started buying warm clothes like clothes and that yet?

haha yeah i know i just hope that there is people actually going on this.... not really havnt got anything yet i think im just going to save an buy my gloves and some really nice leather boots in London when i first get there! is the plan at the mo!

Tess, don't stress! My sister and I have booked this tour too! We are doing this one and then the Euro Inspiration 4 days later! I am so excited!

We arrive in London on the 6th, and plan to stay at a hostel close to the Contiki pick up, if not in the Contiki hotel. We are from Victoria, Australia.

Hey awesome, well im glad there are other ppl going i was getting worrid that no one else was going on it an it was going to get cancelled!!! i arrive in london on the 6th as i will be in ireland i think i am staying at the contiki hotel as its easy we can meet the night before and go for a beer i am staying on 5 days after the tour before i fly home so maybe we could do a bit of exploring, im going on my own.... eeck

My sister and I are leaving Melbourne on the 5th. You should stay at Astor Museum with us! Its cheap as! AND we are going to be in London for 4 nights after the tour!
I believe there is a tour meeting the day before it starts so we could catch up before then.

I am mega excited. Worried about money, but excited none the less. I have been overseas twice, once when I was a kid in Primary school on a cruise to venautu, and then to Fiji when I was 16. Never to Europe. My sister, however, has been to Germany and a bit around Europe and Britain when she was 16 on an exchange program. We are doing our London tours and then we are staying with an exchange student we had a few years back. I am SO EXCITED!

Its been canceled :-(

I originally wanted to go on that tour, but was told it wasn't running... Have you switched dates? I'm doing the Great Britain Winter tour leaving New Years Eve with my sister - both from Sydney - trying desperately to but winter clothes.

The particular tour has been canceled for the whole of January. The alternative dates were the one you want to go on and one leaving early February, however my sister and I don't arrive until Jan 6th, and we are on a different contiki tour at that point. Good luck with winter clothing, we are having a similar difficulty.
