Glad to see other girls on this trip! I just booked the Southern Ireland portion that meets up with your group on June 25th.

This will be my first time to Europe and I am traveling solo. I am very excited and a little nervous at the same time!

Have you been on Contiki tours before?

Hey! That's awesome you'll be joining up with the tour. I'm a solo traveller as well - best way to do it I say! I did a European Vista with contiki two years ago, fresh out of first year uni, so it will be great to do another. I travelled by myself last time too and was an amazing experience. In fact, I still reguarly catch up with the Melbournians that were on my tour all those months ago. I think maybe three quarters of my last tour were solo, so we certainly won't be the only ones! Are you doing any travelling beforehand? I'm doing a final year uni placement in London immediately beforehand for 10 weeks, so I'll be ready for a holiday!

Looking forward to a vacation as well! That is cool that there a many Australians on the tours. I am from the US.

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to do any traveling before or after the trip since I was not able to get much time off of work. I have been out of college for a few years now, so I am worried that I will be of the "older ones" on the trip. I like having fun though and looking forward to the pubs. Smiler

Hi, I'm going on the Southern Ireland Trip joining up on the 28th June as well. I'll be there a couple of days earlier, as I will already be in London watching the Cricket there. Having also booked for the Scotland Contiki trip from 24th-28th June, and being there a couple of days earlier as well.

I am also doing the Scotland 5 day tour on the 24th June - 28th June, and the Southern Ireland Tour from 28th June to 6th July and the Italian Espresso Tour from 7th July to 14th July, and then back to England for the Ashes Cricket Tests. Again, also I am travelling alone.

Wow, from the US! That's one of the great things about doing a tour - you meet people from all around the world. What state are you from? I'm actually heading off to LA and Las Vegus in a week's time for a family holiday. And I'm going to New York and Boston in March for a bit before I head to London for uni. Can't wait - I've never been to the US! Don't worry at all about age on Contiki - there is such a range. I was just a bub on my first contiki - the average age was probably about 24. But everyone gets along and mixes it up anyway. Yeah - can't wait for the irish pubs! This tour doesn't sound a full on as a european tour and should be a great holiday!

Good to hear from you as well Chrispy - sounds like you've got a lot of travelling booked! I don't think you'll be on our tour, because you leave a bit later (our irish part is from 25th June to 2nd July) but our tours may cross paths at some stage - who knows?
