Im also an Aussie girl traveling alone- this trip will not be my first tho as I am doing the European Impressions from the 14th Sept - 1st Oct. Im looking forward to doing this Great Britain trip! Im sure it will be lots of fun!! Where about in Australia are u from??

Yeah I don't think many people know about this website. I only found it one day when I was bored at work! I only booked the trip last week and had to call contiki for availability because it is almost booked out. Im from Sydney too! Im near Hornsby- but im in London at the moment. How about you?

true, spose i wouldnt of even looked for it but my travel agent said it would be a good idea to check it out ;p  i live out near parramatta but im in cairns at the moment. then its back to the daily routine for 3 weeks b4 i head off hows the weather out that way?

It's been sooooo hot in London the past month or so! It has been like 33 degrees everyday and really warm in the evenings. I feel like i'm at home except that there are no beaches to go to so everyone goes to the park!
Its cooled down a bit this week i think its in the mid 20's which is much nicer - I didnt think that London got over 20! I think it will be much cooler in October tho as that will be Autumn over here but im sure the trip will be heaps of fun either way!

wow 33 deg thats a suprise to hear like you i was thinking max 20 lol. i dont mind if its too cool. as long as the sun shines it will be good. its blowing a gale in cairns although the sun is at its best its still rather cold the locals say it been that way since larry hit such a shame to see the damage up close. are you parting in londen till the 14th?

Yeah it is a shame to Cairns like that- its so beautiful up there!
I just got my travel documents and had a sneak peak at the hotels we are staying in.
They look really nice! - compared to what I will be staying in in Europe for my Impressions tour!!

thats good to hear i was expecting the worst from wat you see on telly, starting to stress now as i leave for LA on sat hope there are no dramas at the airportcant wait for this tour though and hearing all the accents lol esp in scotland. well i spose i shall see you soon
