Hi everyone,

Since Europe is known for pickpocketers, how is everyone going about carrying their money? Will you be wearing money belts, or simply carrying your wallet in a purse or backpack?

I am going to have a money belt with my plane ticket home, passport, most of my cash and my credit card. I will likely use the contiki pouch thing they sent me for my other documents and a few pounds for easy-access. I won't bother with a wallet.

I went to Greece for a week on a tour like Contiki and this system worked well. If you are going to use a wallet, make sure it is at the bottom/tucked away somewhere in your backpack and be very weary of it.

well ladies as of money i wouldnt recoment going around with your purses just a plane small wallet in your front pocket and i wouldnt walk around with valuable jewlery. Id just try to blend in like if you wernt a tourist.
