I just booked the trip today. I will only do the 8-day Britain tour. That means we will be split after day 8

I am from a small town near Rotterdam, The Netherlands. So I am very close to home when I am on tour...

Is this your first trip to Europe?

Yeah it is. I have only been on a plane once before to bali which is only 5 hours from where I live. This will be a huge experience. I'm doing this the day after I get to london and by myself so a little bit nervous! Do you have facebook at all? My email is khadden87@hotmail.com.

I guess it sure will be a great experience. Is it also your first Contiki tour? I did two Contiki tours some years ago (2001 / 2002) and that was absolutely great fun.
I met a lot of people. And with one girl from Florida I am very good friends ever since.
I will also be arriving in London a day before the tour departs. I booked myself a room in the Imperial Hotel at Russell Square. I have been to London several times and I like the city very much.

I have never been on a contiki tour before and within 9 weeks I am going on 3!! It just worked out they way because no-one else had anything as exciting as the contiki that I wanted to do. I'm doing this one by myself. Then do one with my bf then one with my friends.

AHH! I am so excited, I just booked my trip minutes ago and my stomach is having a party- I am going solo and have no idea what to expect! Hopefully just an unreal time and lots of new friends. I am in Ontario, Canada for school right now but i am from the east coast, its my first time doing a tour as well!

One of the things I always love about Contiki (this will be my third Contiki tour) is that there are people from all over the world. I bet I will be the one living the closest to London anyway :-)
I will arrive at London around 1pm on the afternoon of July 29th. I booked myself a room at the Imperial Hotel (very close to the Royal National were the tour starts).
Maybe we can meet at the 29th?

Hugo, this will be my 3rd tour as well. I arrive on the 29th but am not sure at waht time. I have yet to receive any flight info from my travel agent. I'll be staying at the Royal National going and coming back at the Imperial.

@Sonia: I will be staying in the Imperial both coming and going... I will only be on the 8 day Great Britain part of the tour. Are you going to Ireland as well?
I think it will be fun to meet each other on the 29th. Maybe we can do some siteseeing in advance. I have been to London 7 or 8 times, and I always love the city.

Hi Sonia and Kylie,

I will arrive around 1pm... I'll stay in the Imperial Hotel but I have to collect my vouchers at the Contiki Basement in the Royal National.

So, it sounds like we can do some sightseeing all together before the pre-departure meeting!
