Hi Kim.

My name is Nick & I'm from Melbourne, Australia. I'll be 25 by the time the tour starts. This will be my 4th Contiki tour. I did the USA & Canada in September.

I'll be spending 2 months in Europe with a week in Egypt before our tour to finally see the pyramids.

I can't wait for this tour to start.

Nick.

Hi Ashley & Nat.

Don't be worried about travelling on your own, Nat. You'll be okay. Plus most of the people on the tour will be in the same boat.

Ashley, is your tour departing London on the 3rd of May for Oxford. Is it a 15 day tour or is it longer?

I fly into London on the 29/4 and have a few days to explore London before the tour starts.

Hey Nick and Ashley!

I am flying out of Oz on the 1st May and arrive in London on the 2nd ready to leave on Contiki on the 3rd.

I am getting excited and nervous! Are you staying at the one of the Contiki motels? If so, which one? I think I am at the National one.

Nat

Hey nat, how are you? I actually have a cousin who is living in london at the moment so i'm trying to crash at her place, but she is taking forever to respond to my emails! If push comes to shove, i'll have to stay at a hotel as well

I ended up getting tired of waiting around for my cousin to get back to me and have decided to stay at the Royal National until the tour starts.

Nick, are you going to be going to any sites before we head on the tour? I want to see stonehenge and the roman baths before the tour starts, so i've been looking at different companies who do day tours to the sites.

I will be staying at the Imperial. I am hoping to book a tour to the stonehenge on the 2nd of May. I've been told you can't get close to stonehenge any more and that it isn't that good but I can't go all that way and not see it. I think the day tour I'm going to do goes to Bath as well. There's so much to see so I hope I can fit it all in.

38 days until the tour starts.

There are actually certain tours that allow you private viewings of stonehenge, which means that you can go into the circle past the ropes. However, they do cost more

That would be good. It would be nice to get a closer view. I don't think my travel agent offers a tour that good though. I still haven't booked yet (hopefully in the next week).

Kim, Nat & Ashley are you doing any other tours while overseas?

You can book it on your own on the different websites.

Here are a couple that offer the inner circle tours:

Hey Nick, Kim and Ashley!

Not long to go now!!

I am doing another Contiki after the UK/Ireland one - leaving on May 20 to do Europe/Greek Islands for 33 days. As for other tours, I will decide what to do when I get over there to see what I want to see and do. Any suggestions of great places or things I have to see while in the UK??

Seeya soon.
Nat
