Just rang Contiki and I'm almost confirmed they just need to check there is enough space on the Grand Canyon leg of the tour. I'd love to join you for some sightseeing before the trip starts, will hopefully know asap! What hotel does the tour leave from, this hasn't been confirmed to me yet? I've been recommended to get the DIsneyland express from LAX to Anaheim, would you all agree with this? Laura x PS - I'm 25!

Hi Laura - that good that you maybe joining us Smiler Tour leaves from the Best Western Stovalls Inn - Im staying 4 nights before the tour so I can do Disneyland. Yeah the Disneyland Express is the best - that is what I am using. Not long now - 2 sleeps for me before hitting LA Smiler

Its just a transfer from LAX to the hotels in the Disneyland area - depends on where you are but I only paid $20 NZD for the oneway transfer - this is the info on the voucher:

Disneyland Resort Express provide a scheduled transfer service (no reservation required) from Los Angeles International Airport to Anaheim.

After collecting your bags at the Los Angeles International Airport, proceed outside to the centre island.Disneyland Resort Express picks up under the overhead GREEN BUS STOP sign.

The pick up starts up on the hour starting at Terminal #1. Please allow 3 - 5 minutes for pick ups between each terminal.
Travel time to the Anaheim Resort area is approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic.

To confirm the time of the next bus, use the courtesy phone located in the baggage claim
area or call 714 978 8855 or 800 828 6699 and ask for dispatch.

Hi everyone, good enws I'm all confirmed so I'll be flying to LA from Manchester on Sunday, going to stay for 2 nights beforehand. Hoping to do Disney on the Monday, and I think I'm booking onto this tour on the Tuesday if anyone wants to join me!

Not sure if I'm staying at the Stovall's for the 2 nights, the Econolodge next door is loads cheaper, but I've not asked Contiki about their rates for Stovall's yet so I may give them a call later. Can't wait!

PS - Anyone know which hotel we stay at in Las Vegas?

I think the tour will pick up at most Anaheim hotels so you should be fine being picked up at the Anaheim Plaza Suites.
