Hi, I haven't decided where I'm staying for my first night yet, but will stay in Anaheim the night before the tour as it is an early start and Anaheim is a decent hike from the main part of LA (so I believe). Here is a great website with loads of information on LA:

Actually yeah - i think i will stay in Anaheim for the two nights before we leave as i would like to see Disneyland! Let me know if you want to go together the day before the trip as it will be so much more fun to go with someone.

Don't say that, Im going to collect my Contiki Documents tomorrow so hopefully its still going ahead.

I haven't booked my accom yet but will prob stay at the hotel Contiki recommends just for convenience the next morning. The day before though we'll be staying at Santa Monica.

Hey everyone!!!!!!! Bit slow to find this forum but now that i'm here its great to see a few aussies on the same tour as me!

Im getting in on the 20th, do 2 days of Disneyland (main motivation for the trip to be honest :P) then onto the contiki. For those interested, i recommend chasing up the Unofficial Guide to Disneyland. Good read and appears useful to make the most of the trip.

Since so many of us are doing the Disneyland thing, any chance of not having to go to the pre tour meeting on the 21st??????? haha
