For all of us eagerly anticipating going on a spanish spree tour in 09.. whos going, dates, etc etc.

anyway, right now i haven't booked yet, but a coworker and i are thinking of going some time in late april/early may. we're from toronto canada. when do you plan on going?

hey hey i knew there were heaps of ppl going on this trip.. just wondered where they were all at. LOL. i havent booked yet either, i need to accept my uni offer first then book my ticks start of jan. so excited!! im starting off spanish spree tours then connecting to greek island hopping tour, most probably starting off the SS in mid june! where else do u intend to go and have u been on any contiki tours before ?

ohh where do you plan on going to uni? is this for graduate study?
i need to book at the beginning of january too once my friend and i find out our exam schedules for winter term!!
we were thinking of also going to the french riviera (cote d'azur, provence, monte carlo, nice, cannes) on our own, and possibly lisbon portugal. though one would be before, and one would be after. portugal is a maybe but the riviera is for sure!! haha it'll be so nice!

that's super cool that you're joining up to the greek island tour... i heard that one's really good!!

i would LOVE to go to portugal .. its on my to do list.. maybe next time!
never been on a contiki trip before.. last time i was o/s was in 2005 and ive been counting down ever since to get back ! im thinkin with a tour will be awesome, get to meet a lot of new people and just have a ball.

ohh that's super cool! you must have fast tracked then, if you were born in 86! what are you taking?
right now, portugal is still a maybe for me, but i'm hoping to make it happen... depends on how efficient i am with the planning and such!
contiki trips are generally a lot of fun. there'll always be a couple weird people but apart from that, everyone's pretty down to earth. doing a tour is quite different compared to traveling yourself... and in the end it depends on the type of traveler you are. i like a bit of both so, as with my last contiki tour, i did a bit of touring on my own and then the other half with contiki. =)
as for my traveling antics, i try and go to at least two new places each year... a personal goal for myself to see more of the world!
