Hello all I will be arriving a day early before the tour and do a day and half to myself in Barcelona.
Anyone else is welcome to join me as well, I will be leaveing Canada on May 18th to arrive may 19th in the morning.

I'm from the US, but I'm currently living in Italy... will still be there in May so my flight will be very short...

I was thinking of doing the same thing... what time does your flight arrive? I didn't book mine yet, but was planning to by the end of this weekend... undecided between two flights... one arrives earlier, is cheaper, but goes to the little airport further away... the other arrives a little later, is a little more $$ but goes to the main airport..

did you book a hotel for the extra night yet? I was looking at just staying at the same hotel..

Hello there, for the 19th of May i will be flying from Toronto To milan then arriving into barcelona around 11am or so around that time. I will be staying at the hotel stays at. No point in switching locations for one day.

What are your plans for Barcelona? do u plan also to do any more tours after spanish spree?

If I go ahead and book the flight I am looking at I will arrive in Barcelona at 1:30pm... I booked the hotel that the group is staying in, but I have up to 48 hours before to cancel...

I am not doing any other tours immediately after the spanish spree... I work for an american company but I am in the Milan, Italy location for a year total... been here since July! I can't get more than the 2 weeks off at one time... I discovered Contiki last summer when I first arrived and was looking for a way to travel... so far I have been on the Aegean Classic and the Vienna to Budapest tours... both were great... its a good way to meet people who are also traveling solo... i've had only but good experiences so far... I am so excited about the Spanish Spree... I hear Spain is just amazing!

is this your first Contiki? any plans for after the tour?

This time will be my 3rd and 4th contiki, as im going on Golden fleece right after the spanish spree.
I did the european vista contiki in 2005 and in 2006 i did the 22 day scandinavia and russia tour as well did the 4 days on the contiki resort in mykonos, greece.

Wow, what a small world, anyways ya i will be doing that spanish spree a day early on the 19th. And iget there that morning, shall be a blast.

Attention everyone on this forum, for all of you people doing this tour on the 20th of May. WE are exactly at our 4 month date from the tour. ITs going to be very exciting. I cant wait to go, as life is kinda boring here right now and my main meaning in my life is to travel. Its going to be fun.

What part of the Spanish spree are you most excited for?
Im all pumped for the whole thing. Its gonna be fun to see Barcelona and all those other cities. Ibiza will be fun. Im excited for all the sightseeing and the exciting people to meet on the tour.
Dont forget the great parties that will happen,especially in Ibiza.!!

I just booked this trip and I'll be arriving a day early in Barcelona (Saturday, May 19). Maybe we can all meet up and do some exploring before the others arrive. I believe I'm going to stay in the contiki hotel too.

After the trip I am going back to Barcelona for 2-3 nights before flying back to NY. I heard that the trip doesn't provide enough time to really enjoy Barcelona so I'm going to go back.

This will be my first contiki tour and I'm coming alone..very excited!

ill be seein you all in may its my first contiki and the first thing i do on my trip so im pumped!! ill also be hanging back after and seeing what happens from there

Good all arriving on MAy 19th but i couldnt get into the contiki hotel that day as its all booked!!
So im staying at the Novotel the first day, and then movin to contiki. Anyways i plan to do lots in barcelona prior, its gonna rock!
