We are looking to see if anyone else is going to do the Sept 4th-Sept 16th in Spain.
This will be my 4th contiki..
We did Australia in Novemember and that was a blast, not sure if Spain can live up to that trip, but we will go to Dublin before the trip and Munich Oktoberfest (3rd time) after...
Hopefully we will get a good turn out for this trip, or we will have to look at the Sept 11th - 23rd.. crew.. .

I just signed up....this will be my first contiki...and my first time
abroad.  What can I expect traveling through contiki?

Once you do one, you wont want to travel any other way..
The Bus ride is long, but thats when you get to catch up on your sleep.
Play some stupid games, I usually bring Uno, or something to pass the time. The newer coaches have DVD players, but our luck, Europe doesnt play USA DVD's ... I had my laptop also, but not sure if I will bring it this time.. I would recommend an ipod.. we usually hook it up to the main cabin to DJ for the bus..

This will be my 4th... traveling with a buddy from work, who went with me on 2 other trips.

It all depends on the group that goes, just think of it this way. .
Going out to a Bar with 30-40 people as friends already...

Our Australia trip, after 3 days, we were a tight nit group of people that felt like we knew each other for years. Still stay in touch with a few of them.

Spain will be a little bit of sight seeing and then going out at night, Australia was all adventure.. Scuba, sky diving, surfing, sailing, white water rafting, Tiger Moth Plane.. etc...
Ibiza will be wild, know a few people that went there, and I heard barcelona is great city..
We will be in Dublin Sept 1-3rd, then Lisbon Sept 3r-5th
Start the tour on the 5th, then will stay one extra night in barcelona for that saturday the 16th.. and then leave to brussells on the 17th and head on to munich the same night, and flying back to NYC on the 20th..
Oktoberfest is a blast if you can make that.

Just hoping our tour is full, or 30-40 people min, makes for a better experience, but then again a smaller group is good.
There are only a few dates that are still available, but ours is guaranteed so its all good..
