I couldn't wait any longer and I purchased my tickets yesterday. The total cost was $937, plus I'm thinking of buying the travel protection insurance, just in case, although I'm absolutely positive that I AM GOING.

I'll be arriving to Madrid on the 22nd, at 8:50am....so I'll have 2 extra days before the tour, plus an extra day after the tour.

Andre, I also have to get back to work on Jan 4th, but I'm taking that Monday and Tuesday off. I'm a teacher who rarely uses his sick days...so, Spain deserves that. hehehehehehe.

Dalgingirl, it's very nice to say hi to you. In regards to your question about packing, Contiki will weigh your suitcase, and if I rememeber correctly, it shouldn't exceed 20 kilos, 22, or 23 kilos. It's something like that.

Don't forget to take your converter. I have a friend who went to Europe last year and she didn't know about this. Can you imagine what happened to her hair dryer???? LOL!

You should also take one of those head pillows for the bus rides. It'll be a lot more comfortable.

Hi Everyone! I have just booked the spanish spree tour from dec23-jan3 and am very excited too!! I am from Canada, but am studying in France for the year so I'll be flying out on the morning of the 23rd to Madrid. Can't wait for the trip, it's going to be a lot of fun!!

if you want to travel to barcelona and save some money then you can go via girona airport.it is just 1 hour drive from barcelona and fares are quite cheap including tranfers

Hi guys, this forum's been cold for a while, and it's time to warm it up again. Hope everyone's doing well and feeling excited the tour is almost here.

I finally booked my flight recently (yay!). Didn't get the best deal I expected...but, oh well. I'll arrive in Madrid a day early, and want to know if there are others who'll be doing the same, as I'm thinking of setting up a pre-tour gathering, if anyone is interested. Have a great weekend!
