I'm new to the Contiki Tour scene - I'm traveling alone, so I wanted to touch base with anyone going on the June 20-July 2 Trip.

Sorry for the late reply. I'll be coming from LA, flying out on June 20. I too am excited to see Spain; ever since I saw the movie, "Vicky Christina Barcelona", I've had this urge to leave LA and visit Barcelona. But to be honest, I am nervous...they say that the Spain Spree is one big party. I'm down for a party, but at 27, I also want a little time to enjoy the food, wine, and just chill. Hope you are well, talk to you soon.

Also, are you flying out of Ibiza back to Barcelona?

This will be my first Contiki trip also!! I was going to travel solo, but my friend recently decided to come with me. We are also both from the LA area. I'm 28 and my friend is 34, we're also hoping for a good mix between party and experiencing all that Spain has to offer. We're leaving on the 19th and we are still figuring out our plans for after Ibiza as we are staying in Spain till either the 4th or 5th.

Hi there! I am thinking of taking this tour on this date. That same weekend in Barcelona is the Sonar music festival so they'll be lots of parties that weekend. If i do end up doing this tour, I will probably get there Thursday. Also, are you guys planning to stay in Ibiza after the tour is over? I was planning to stay there for a few more days cuz 2 days is not enough time for me to go to all the parties in the island. So what are your plans?

Hi girls! I'm also booked for the Spanish Spree leaving on June 20th and I can't tell you how excited I was to read your posts! I am also traveling alone and have never done a Contiki tour. I'm also thrilled to know that not everyone on the trip is going to be 21 (I was sure I would be the grandma on the trip at the ripe old age of 32!). I'm coming from Atlanta, GA and while I'm definitely looking forward to a few fun filled/wild nights (its Spain!), I also need at least some sleep to enjoy the sights...so I'll be the one heading back to the hotel on the earlier side right along with you. It sounds like an incredible trip and I am looking forward to meeting you all.

are any of you going to be in barcelona before june 21 and are any of you planning to stay in ibiza a few more days after the tour to keep the party going? I will be in barcelona probably around june 18 for the Sonar festival parties. I would like to stay more days in ibiza after the tour.

cool! so you are leaving ibiza on july 4th? are you going to stay in the same hotel from the tour?

I'm staying one extra night in Ibiza (at the same hotel as the tour) and then going back to Barcelona for one more night and then home.
