Hey everyone!

I dont know what dates to go on the spanish spree because I'm afraid to go alone. I never traveled alone. My friends can not come because of their own reason. So, I just decided to go on this trip on my own. I need to try something different. Can anyone tell how contiki treats those solo people like myself?

This is my myspace page for those who want to know a little about me.

Contiki trips are all about single people that go away on their own. It's the safest you'll ever feel... you are always traveling with your group unless you decide to do stuff on your own.

Hi,

I went on the Italian Espresso tour by myself for New Years 2007. I had a great time seeing Italy and meeting new people. These tours are geared to making singles feel comfortable and most of the people on the tour are very out going. I'm planning on going on the Spanish Spree in late Dec. Best of luck.

Hey Everyone,
I'm NOT going on your trip but i've travelled with Contiki and would like to offer some advice:
If you plan on taking a credit card to Europe, you may want to call your credit card company to let them know you'll be travelling so they don't think the card has been stolen and cut you off.

Another thing I recommend is carrying your cash in a money belt, I find it safer.

When you pack, throw some clothing into your carry-on to lighten the weight of the suitcase and in case your luggage gets lost. Leave room for souveneirs & carry with you an extra copy of your pasport and hotel address list.

In terms of weight of luggage, it's the airlines that are more strict than Contiki. Each airline has their own weight threshold & will only be too glad to charge you extra for going over. You can find out the limit/rules by going on the airline's website.

Feel free to ask me anything else.
